Medieval: Total War Viking Invasion Overview
The expansion pack to Medieval serves up a deadlier, darker Total War as players enter the late Dark Ages, a time when ruthless Vikings staged devastating raids across the North and carved out new domains in Britain, crushing the kingdoms already struggling for power. Viking Invasion adds new levels of gameplay to Total War, plus new factions, a complete new campaign world, units, weapons and features. The mission is to crush foes on battlefields ranging from the icy fjords of Scandinavia and the mountains of Scotland, to the gently rolling hills of Wessex in an effort to build a kingdom using the sword, diplomacy, trade, marriage and treachery. It's up to the player to leave his mark on history by leading the chosen people to greatness as a new, unified Kingdom of Britain.
