Torrente Overview
Torrente, an irreverent, darkly comic action shooter for PC. Developed in Madrid, Spain by Virtual Toys in partnership with Cinemaware, and based on the top-grossing films of the same name, Torrente is a sexist, drunk, and dirty cop who soon finds himself caught in the crossfire between drug cartels and the Mafia. Now he must blast his way through street thugs and hit men battling for control over Madrid's seedy underworld. From taking out bazooka-carrying assassins to protecting supermodels, the game's lead character Torrente can choose from over 40 different weapons and wage war through over 60 action-packed levels from the loud and fast streets of Madrid to the sunny beaches of Marbella. Customizable camera control allows for either first-person or third-person views.
