The pack includes the original ULTIMA ONLINE, the first six expansion packs, an advanced, pre-made character, and a free 45-day trial pass. For newcomers to the Ultima world, there is no better introduction. ULTIMA ONLINE was one of the first major MMORPG’s available and one of the most expanded. Players create their own custom character and select the role they wish to play. Unlike some other MMORPG’s, ULTIMA ONLINE allows players to take on roles other than the traditional hero, mage, or thief. Players can buy a store and become a shopkeeper, craft armor, or spend their time fishing. Even more, players can change roles as often as they like, going from assassin to shopkeeper to warrior. Gamers can also purchase and decorate houses for their characters. The six expansion packs add more to the magical world of Britannia, including new weapons, quests, spells, enemies, and locations. Each expansion opens up more of the world for players to explore, interact in, and battle through. To mark the 8th anniversary of ULTIMA ONLINE, this collection comes with an atlas of the land of Sosaria, a play guide, and introduces new armor, weapons, and other items to the game. Players who have never experienced the magical world of ULTIMA ONLINE couldn’t ask for a better introduction.
